Unfortunately, when we arrived there was also a day of rest on Tuesday, although online and on the large sign only Monday is mentioned as a day of rest! ??? Overall, it looks bad there because of demolition work.

Yes what can I say, it wasn't delicious the cake was very watery (as if it had thawed several times) and therefore not tasty. The coffee tastes like instant coffee .... Waiting time was long but this is due to Corona. Not recommended.

It is such a shame that this much-visited area is not used better. The service is so unfriendly and they also have the cheek in Thuringia not to offer original Thuringian bratwurst! Are you crazy? Totally embarrassing

Unfortunately disappointed! For such a beautiful city like Eisenach - that's not a figurehead. A feel-good atmosphere is missing here! Location is nice. More should be made of it here! Why do you let such a beautiful property deteriorate and fall apart ???

In summary: the beer was cold and the bratwurst tasted good too. The rest is rather moderate: there is a lack of friendliness and cosiness. Can also be understood in view of the tourist crowds and the noisy traffic. Recommendation: take the cold beer bottle with you a few meters further and enjoy the quiet in the countryside. But please don't forget to take the rubbish back with you;)

Very small selection, very greasy, partly burnt roasters and incredibly unfriendly service. Better to pack one more bread for lunch here.

Great place with a lot of tourism, but instead of a grill restaurant you only find a simplest snack bar with terrifying service with bratwurst, sausage and pretzel on offer. A real shame !!

Well, moderately. A bratwurst € 3.00 a 0.5l bottle of raspberry lemonade € 2.50. No other food offerings, you might just have to think twice and not just go the simplest "Corona route". We used to like to stop by here. But now ???

I could see two super friendly ladies from the grill. Surely there was definitely another strong man. The Dixis should be avoided.

From the Wartburg we hiked through the Drachenschlucht to the Hohe Sonne. Very nice hiking route and recommended. Unfortunately we only got one drink and then the grill closed at 4pm. What a shame

The pure service disaster! Unfriendly, messy staff, and you have to be very careful that you get everything that was paid for. Competition from other providers would be a good thing here, even if it were "just" a broiler car in the parking lot. But the quasi-monopoly is currently being shamelessly exploited, including through high prices. After all - the Rostbratwurst is good, it deserves one star.

The bratwurst unfortunately didn't taste good and the staff let out loudly about another guest ... The sanitary facilities should really only be used in an emergency, since it is only a Dixi toilet ... Not recommended ... Am the best thing is to bring your own food with you! It's a pity!

Nice place and nice beer garden but very rude staff. Saturday around 5:30 pm a group is rejected. We were just lucky that we got a sausage at 16:00. But there was no ice cream afterwards, reason: "It's closed." Saturday s

One should not come with high expectations or hunger. But it's great for ice cream and drinks. You can sit and rest well.

Name "Grill Deep Shadow" would be true..bad offer for a rest, unmotivated staff ... Sanitär the laughter .... only suitable as a test for survival training ... take a picnic and rest in the forest is better .... please dispose of the "locality" in an environmentally friendly way.

Great fries! Ok brats. Ok service. Great Drama Llama ice cream bar. Was great to be able to sit and eat after hiking and before hiking back down through the dragon gorge.
